"Unwind" is Mae Bet's first choreographic painting.

After a thought-provoking conversation, she lay in bed and asked the universe, "Will I find my new passion project this year? And what will it be?" That was a Monday night (12/16/24). By Friday (12/20/24), she had gathered all the materials she needed to begin her choreographic painting journey. Then, just a week later, after the holiday season (12/28/24), she created Unwind.

It was the purest, most free-flowing experience she had ever felt—using a single paintbrush at the time, switching hands, and dancing around the canvas. No cameras, no recordings, no judgement —just her, an empty studio, and the freedom to create. From that moment on, the rest was history.
